It is always fun to meet fellow bloggers "in real life" for the first time. I'm going to a friends wedding about 3000miles away[4800km] in 3 weeks and I'll be meeting someone I met online almost 2 years ago for the first time. We're good friends now and am looking forward to meeting them :-)

As for falling for someone you've never met IRL, it is quite possible. Especially if you communicate with them and get to know them through their words. People can put on a facade for only so long before it cracks. So if someone has been writing for over 6 months, glimpses of the Truth of them will peek through, even if they are trying to hide it. And if they are NOT trying to hide it, then you really get to KNOW that person, without having all the pitfalls of the physical getting in the way.

A question-what is the drinking age there? Cause I was thinking you were like 18, maybe 20 at the top, but then you mention drinking smirhnoffs, etc. So either the drinking age is lower there than here[21 here], or you're older than your writing style hints at.

it might b possible, but there's something about meeting someone and finding they ar a whole lot different from what you thought before. unless you guys were perhaps meant to be.

I believe that the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Like any non-face to face media you can only tell how a real blogger will be like by meeting him/her. But from the blogging style and writing you can definately develop a liking for someone.

klara, it's possible,it happens, and i think by the time you get to meet the person,you're already comfy with him as a person then comes the physical part..if ure lucky u wont be dissapointed.

Number 100 here. Yup, I believe it is possible to 'fall' in love with someone you have never met but staying in love depends on how you feel after meeting him and where both of you are headed.

I would say NOT possible. The person is thousands of miles away and you have never seen them, I don't know what kind of love it would be.

Yeah I do think its possible to fall in love with someone you havent met if indeed they have revealed their true personality. Caution though is very neccesary. Make that leap of faith
